  • Try a look or a sound first. Tap a Bead Pro look and the whole app wears it for five seconds; tap a Bead Pro completion sound and it plays once. Then the Bead Pro sheet says what that was. One preview of each, once a day, and your own look and sound stay as you set them.
  • More from Zone7 Studios. Settings gains a page of our other apps, each one a tap from its website, and Share this app, which sends a Bead link to anyone you like.
  • About, with its links. About now links the privacy, terms and support pages, the Bead website and the open-source licences Bead is built with, and says that we receive anonymous usage stats.

  • Bead Pro. One payment, once, and nothing after it. No subscription and nothing to cancel. The store sets the price and shows it in your own money.
  • What it unlocks. All seven accents and all six completion sounds, and it takes lists from two up to ten.
  • The free Bead is the one it always was. Electric, the Bead sound, Silent and two lists. The widget, the TV board, notes, photos and files, repeats and the Done view all stay free for everyone.
  • Restore purchases. One tap in the Bead Pro sheet brings it back on a new phone, or on this one after a reinstall.
  • Lists you already have all stay. If you came from 1.0 with more lists than the free tier holds, every one of them keeps working.
  • Bug fixes and stability improvements.

  • Today, and what's coming. One screen that opens straight to Today, with Waiting, Soon and Later below it, worked out from the date each time it draws.
  • Finishing something. Swipe right, or hold a row until the green fill crosses it. Swipe left to move it to tomorrow instead, and all of it can be undone.
  • Done today, and ninety days back. Finished tasks stay under Done today until tomorrow, and a Done view keeps the last ninety days, one section per day, with Not done yet to put a row back.
  • Repeats that don't pile up. Every day, weekdays, every week, every few days, every fortnight, every few weeks, every month on a day you choose, or every year on a date from the calendar. The next occurrence is made only when you finish or skip the current one, and Skip this one is a button, not a workaround.
  • Lists, and what a task can hold. Lists can be made, renamed and removed without losing tasks, and an All lists view shows everything in the same lanes. A task can carry a note, a time it never rings, and photos or documents you picked yourself.
  • Two settings, and a widget. An accent over a dark ground that never changes, and the small sound a finished task makes, or silence. On Android there's a home-screen widget showing Today, the number waiting, and “All clear.” when there's nothing.
  • The board, on your TV. Cast it to a Chromecast or a Google TV on your own network: titles only, for as long as you're casting.
  • What isn't in it. Notifications, alarms, accounts, sync, ads, streaks, badges, scores, and any use of red for a date that has gone by. Android went first, and the iPhone build followed.
